Train to Teach at Rawdon St Peter's
Are you passionate about inspiring the next generation?
At Rawdon St Peter’s, we’re proud to work in partnership with Bradford Birth to 19 SCITT to deliver high-quality Primary teacher training.
Why train with us?
Through our partnership with Bradford Birth to 19, you’ll be part of a highly supportive, research-informed training programme that combines academic study with practical classroom experience.
From your first day, you’ll be welcomed into our school community as a valued member of the team — learning alongside skilled mentors who are committed to helping you develop confidence, subject knowledge and professional expertise.
You won’t just observe; you’ll teach, plan, reflect and grow — applying evidence-based strategies from the SCITT training directly into your classroom practice.
What you’ll gain
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and a Postgraduate Certificate in Education (PGCE)
- Extensive classroom experience across at least two contrasting schools within the Bradford Birth to 19 partnership
- Weekly central training sessions that link educational research to real-life teaching practice
- A carefully structured pathway that prepares you for your Early Career Teacher (ECT) years
