Our Curriculum

Our Curriculum has been designed to 'unlock every child’s potential'  by offering stimulating and awe-inspiring learning experiences with our Christian Values at its heart.

At Rawdon St. Peter's, we follow the National Curriculum and have captured our approach to learning in our Curriculum Rationale:

Our skilled staff creatively deliver an inclusive and thoughtfully crafted curriculum, underpinned by our Christian Values. We keep learning active and fun and we provide experiences for our children which immerse them in all aspects of school life. Learning is language rich and provides challenge for all, allowing us to unlock every child's potential, and promote life in all its fullness. We create opportunities for deep thinking, collaboration and problem solving. It is through our child centred approach that we provide our pupils with the knowledge we know they will need as they grow with us, and help them deal with the complexities of the modern society and be ready for the wider world.

Our curriculum quick guides have been designed to give parents an insight into our curriculum. To find out more, please visit your child's class page or talk to your child's class teacher.
