Mission & Vision

Luke 8:15  But the seed on good soil stands for those with a noble and good heart, who hear the word, retain it, and by persevering produce a crop.

At Rawdon St. Peter’s C of E Primary School we seek to provide all our pupils with an educational experience of the highest quality that will unlock every child's potential and support them to embrace life in all its fullness. We are an inclusive school, proud of our links with the Green Meadows Academy.

Our skilled staff creatively deliver an inclusive and thoughtfully crafted curriculum, underpinned by our Christian Values. We keep learning active, fun and provide experiences for our children which immerse them in all aspects of school life. Learning is language rich and provides challenge for all, allowing us to unlock every child's potential, and promote life in all its fullness. We create opportunities for deep thinking, collaboration and problem solving. It is through our child centred approach that we provide our pupils with the knowledge we know they will need as they grow with us, and help them deal with the complexities of the modern society and be ready for the wider world.

The school works closely with all the other schools in the Trust to raise standards and develop learning for all pupils in Aireborough. Rawdon St. Peter’s enjoys strong links with the wider community and works closely with a number of local organisations including local charities.

Rawdon St. Peter’s is a Church School and we have strong links with St. Peter’s Church. We recognise the importance of developing pupils’ spirituality and moral code within the context of the Christian community and faith.  Recognising its historic foundation, the school will preserve and develop its religious character in accordance with the principles of the Church of England and in partnership with the Church at parish and diocesan level.
